Sights and sounds ministry

What is Rehai Mela?

Rehai Mela brings people together through film screenings, live music, worship, preaching, prayer, food, family activities and community stalls.

At its heart, it takes the Christian message beyond church walls, welcoming people from all backgrounds to explore faith in a relaxed, respectful environment. We especially welcome those who might not normally enter a church to meet Christians, hear the Gospel, ask questions, receive prayer and experience Christian hospitality.

The event unites churches, pastors, worship teams, volunteers, community organisations and local businesses to serve together and build lasting relationships.

More than an event, Rehai Mela is about faith, community, Christian unity and reaching people where they are.

Why we do it

We believe the love and hope of Jesus should reach beyond church walls and into everyday life. Rehai Mela brings people from different backgrounds together in a welcoming space where they can explore the Christian faith, ask questions and hear the Gospel.

Through shared experiences, conversations and prayer, we want to build friendships, encourage those facing difficulties and help people discover the hope found in Jesus. Everyone is welcome, whether they are already part of a church or simply curious.

How we do it

We bring churches, volunteers and local communities together to create a festival filled with faith, creativity and opportunities to connect. Through film screenings, live worship, personal testimonies and Gospel messages, we share the Christian message in ways people can understand and engage with.

Food stalls, children’s activities and family entertainment give people time to relax and enjoy the day together. Alongside the celebrations, we make space for personal conversations, prayer and encouragement, with volunteers ready to welcome visitors and listen.
